Electric WoMan is an audio-visual installation, made of two elements: body part stories & images people have donated to it, and body part images based on stencil graffiti.
Electric WoMan is an image of or a proposal for a contemporary human being. Or more generally, a living being. Fragmented, scattered, transformable, now and then disoriented. Electric WoMan is of all ages, sexes, origins, plus non-human elements.
Electric WoMan wonders, what and how is a living being made of.
I built the installation with Christopher Hewitt. It premiered at Muu Kaapeli gallery on 12–17, September, 2017.
